      About FIT-Oil
 

FIT-Oil is a software for interpreting microthermometric data obtained on petroleum fluid inclusions

It has been developed at the "Laboratoire Magmas et Volcans", UMR 6524, CNRS/Université Blaise Pascal/OPGC.

It makes uses of the following libraries:

  • LOTHER (Library oriented Object for THERmodynamic calculations), for calculating liquid-gas phase equilibria and fluid thermodynamic properties with equations of state.
  • FIT, a framework wich allows to develop graphical user interfaces on Mac and Windows platforms, including plots and dialog boxes.

It makes uses of the following libraries:

FIT-Oil is an academic freeware. It uses only thermodynamic models (Peng-Robinson equation of state) and fluid composition models (the alpha-beta model), which have been published in the scientific litterature. References can be found below:
